Loss, Late and 2nd chance

seher: It hurts
smaysha: But why
seher: Its the sense of loss
smaysha: But its not like u ever "had" me. How can u feel the loss of something u never had?
seher: Its the loss of something that I could have had
smaysha: I do wish you had had..
seher: If only I realised it earlier
smaysha: guess.... sometimes late is .. a little too late
seher: Yeah, there are no second chances in life
smaysha: Yap there never are.. not just here.. but anywhere

Did it seem strange?? It did to me too after I wrote it.

I wanted a couple of words to write a short story. And these are the 3 that came to my mind first.

A strange poignant one indeed. This seemed to be on lines of the post "Regret...". That's another observation.

Have read a lot of your articles..they are definitely a product of deep thinking.

U have an amazing observation indeed!!

Human emotions and behaviours interest me a lot and it’s remarkable to see the same emotion mean diff things to diff people in diff situations. It astonishes me.

I generally notice them in myself, my friends, and my family and find a meaning, explanation and understanding to it.

But for some reason, at some levels I have not made my peace with this feeling of regret. There is something abt it that does not seem logical to me so my mind keeps going back to it. I feel like a broken record :)

Hi Vinitha,

I didn't know you were updating your blog. This is pleasant news to me. I shall certainly link to it.

To borrow a line from a poet, this post causes a wrench in the heart muscles.

:) and that's when you "converse" with your blog? Seems the case.

And when a subject returns again and again to us, its apt to declare war on it(read: have a debate about it).

Sometimes, peace is made only when the war is won. :)

@Shruti: Poets like it when called poets. :)
